Full Bathroom Installation: your questions answered

How long does a full bathroom installation take?

A typical family bathroom takes two to three weeks from strip-out to hand-over, depending on the amount of tiling and whether walls are being moved or re-plastered. We give you a programme with the quote and keep to it.

Do you supply the bathroom or do I buy it?

Either. Most customers buy their own suite and tiles, which lets you shop for the look and price you want. We tell you exactly what to order, check it when it arrives and fit it. If you prefer, we can supply the lot.

Who does the plumbing and electrics?

We are bathroom fitters and carpenters rather than plumbers or electricians. Pipework and fitting within the bathroom are part of the job; anything involving gas, a new boiler or a new electrical circuit is done by registered engineers we work with, and we manage them as part of the project.

Can we still use a toilet during the work?

If you have a second WC, yes. If the house has only one bathroom we plan the sequence so the toilet is out of action for as short a time as possible and tell you the days in advance.

Is the quote fixed?

Yes. Once we have visited and agreed the specification, the written quote is the price. The only things that change it are extras you ask for or something hidden that only appears once the old room is stripped, which we show you and price before touching.
