Can you renovate the stairs without replacing them?
Yes, in almost every case. The existing structure stays and the visible surfaces are re-clad or replaced, which is far cheaper and quicker than a new staircase and avoids any building control involvement.
How long does a staircase renovation take?
Three to five days for most staircases, and you can use the stairs each evening.
Can you add lighting to the stairs?
Yes. Low-level LED lights in the string or under the nosings are fitted as part of the renovation, with the electrical connection made by a registered electrician we work with.
